TERIBEAR moves Mladá Boleslav: powered by Škoda Auto

GENERAL INFORMATION

As we mark the ninth year of our charity event, TERIBEAR, we’re thrilled to return to Mladá Boleslav after a four-year hiatus. Once again, participants have the unique opportunity to champion a noble cause through real-world action – walking or running – as part of a community gathering.

When and Where

Join us for “TERIBEAR Moves Mladá Boleslav: powered by Škoda Auto” on Wednesday, September 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Štěpánka Park. Register for the event right here (registration opens at the end of August) or simply join us on-site on the day of the event. This regional edition in Mladá Boleslav is made possible through our partnership with Škoda Auto, a steadfast supporter of TERIBEAR since 2015, offering both financial backing and enthusiastic participation from employees and volunteers.

The Principle Made Simple

On an exclusively designed TERIBEAR track spanning about 1.2 km, participants, armed with a designated starting number, will convert their footsteps into concrete help. It’s not about competition or performance; the essence of the happening lies in uniting people from all walks of life on the TERIBEAR track, rallying together to help, at any pace or style, running or walking. For every kilometre covered, 20 CZK will be contributed towards supporting children.

Whom We’re Rallying to Support

This year, our focus extends to children in five carefully chosen children care homes: Nymburk, Holice, Býchory, Mladá Boleslav, and Potštejn. Helping children to maintain an active connection with their biological families, we believe that every child deserves to know their roots. Through systematic efforts, we aim to foster an understanding of familial dynamics, complexities, and even parental decisions. These elements play a pivotal role in anchoring a child’s identity and cultivating their self-esteem and a place in life.

EVENT GUIDELINES

Location:	Štěpánka Nature Park, Mladá Boleslav
Start:	10:00 a.m.
End:	7:00 p.m.
Registration:	Online registration coming soon at www.teribear.cz or on-site.
Registration fee:	100 CZK Feel free to increase the amount as you wish; the proceeds will aid abandoned and vulnerable children under the Foundation’s care.
Measuring:	Utilizing a chip-embedded starting number to track kilometres on the TERIBEAR course.
TERIBEAR Course Length:	Approximately 1.2 km.
Categories:	Individual: Men, Women, Children under 12 Group/Teams
Event’s Core Principle:	Raise funds by walking or running on the TERIBEAR track. For every kilometre covered, 20 CZK will be directed towards supporting children in orphanages.
Cloakroom and Belongings Storage:	Limited facilities for changing and storing belongings in the start and finish area. Please note that the organizer assumes no responsibility for items left outside designated storage.
Medical Services:	Medical support will be available during anticipated peak attendance times.
Our Beneficiaries:	Children from five selected orphanages – DD Nymburk, DD Holice, DDŠ Býchory, DD Mladá Boleslav, and DD Potštejn – proceeds will go towards activities helping to maintain active ties with their biological families.
